Generally, the amount of active alumina accounts for 3% - 5% of the oil by weight. The waste oil treatment system shall be separated from the new oil treatment system to avoid cross contamination. Tanks, containers, etc. with used dirty oil must be thoroughly cleaned before being used in the normal production oil system.
Use of activated alumina:
Active alumina desiccant is non-toxic, odorless, non powdered and insoluble in water. Under certain operating conditions and regeneration conditions, its drying depth is as high as dew point temperature - 70 ℃, which is an efficient desiccant for deep drying of trace water. It is widely used in gas and liquid phase drying of petrochemical industry, air intake equipment such as air filter and air compressor, and air drying of automatic instrument.
