Common Faults of Gear Oil Pump of Quenching Oil Filter
Quenching oil is classified as ordinary quenching oil, high speed quenching oil, bright quenching oil and vacuum quenching oil.
1. Ordinary quenching oil generally uses various mineral oils (such as oil for total loss system) as quenching medium. The greatest advantage of oil as quenching medium is that compared with water, it can enter the convection phase with slower cooling rate at higher temperature during quenching and cooling process, which is beneficial to reduce the tendency of quenching deformation and cracking of workpiece.
The disadvantages of common quenching oil are as follows:
(1) The cooling capacity of oil is much smaller than that of water, especially in the temperature range (500 650 C), which is the most unstable nose tip region of supercooled austenite. Therefore, stirring is often used to increase cooling capacity, but sometimes it also increases the degree of workpiece deformation.
(2) As a quenching medium, mineral oil requires high flash point. Otherwise, the danger of fire in use is greater and the safety is poor.
(3) Oil fume pollution of the environment.
(4) Quenching oil (including various new types of quenching oil) will deteriorate after long-term use and its cooling capacity will decrease, thus affecting the quenching quality of the workpiece. Such as: hardening, hardening, soft spots and so on. Common quenching oil is only suitable for quenching various alloy steels with high stability and good hardenability of supercooled austenite and carbon steel workpieces with cross section less than 5 mm.
2. High-speed quenching oil refers to those quenching oils whose cooling rate is increased in the high temperature zone. There are two basic ways to obtain high speed quenching oil:
(1) Reasonable selection of mineral oils with different types and viscosities, and appropriate mixing ratio to obtain high-speed quenching oil.
(2) High-speed quenching oil is obtained by adding additives to ordinary quenching oil.
High-speed quenching oil is suitable for large cross-section carbon steel or low-alloy workpieces. The temperature is 20-80 C. It is not easy to be too high to prevent accelerated aging. Water is forbidden to infiltrate into the oil to avoid affecting the cooling effect.
3. Bright quenching oil is a kind of quenching oil which can keep the surface of quenched workpiece bright under controlled atmosphere. It is prepared by adding different polymer additives (such as brighteners, antioxidants, etc.) into mineral oil. The service temperature of the brightening quenching oil is 20-80 C. It is strictly forbidden to mix water and other oils in oil.
Bright quenching oil is suitable for quenching and cooling of steel parts heated in controlled atmosphere.
4. Vacuum quenching oil is prepared by vacuum distillation and vacuum degassing of ordinary quenching oil, followed by refrigerant, brightness and antioxidant.
It is suitable for quenching and cooling of bearing steel, die steel, structural steel and alloy carburized steel.
The filtering forms of quenching oil are mainly divided into portable filters, pressure filters, vacuum filters, centrifugal filters and so on.
Quenching oil gear oil pump is suitable for conveying various lubricating liquids. The temperature is not higher than 70 C. If the temperature is 200 C, the high temperature resistant material can be used. This pump is not suitable for conveying corrosive, hard particles or fibers, highly volatile or low flash point liquids, such as gasoline, benzene, etc.
Common faults of gear oil pump on quenching oil filter:
What are the common faults and maintenance methods of circular arc gear oil pump as follows:
(1) Fault Phenomenon of Circular Arc Gear Oil Pump: Pump Can't Layout Material
Arc gear oil pump failure reasons: a, reverse rotation direction; b, inhalation or discharge valve closed; c, low inlet material or pressure; d, too high viscosity, pump can not bite material arc gear oil pump countermeasures: a, confirm the direction of rotation; b, confirm whether the valve is closed; c, check the valve and pressure gauge; d, check liquid viscosity, in order to low speed. Whether or not the flow rate proportionate to the rotational speed occurs during operation, and if there is flow rate, the inflow will be insufficient.
(2) Fault Phenomenon of Circular Arc Gear Oil Pump: Insufficient Pump Flow
Causes of failure of circular arc gear oil pump: A. closure of suction or discharge valve; B. low inlet pressure; C. blockage of outlet pipeline; D. leakage of packing box; E. low speed
Arc gear oil pump countermeasures: a, confirm whether the valve is closed; b, check whether the valve is open; c, confirm whether the discharge is normal; d, tightening; a large number of leakage affect production, should stop operation, disassembly and inspection; e, check the actual speed of the pump shaft;
Operation and maintenance method of circular arc gear oil pump:
(1) Check the sealing of all pipe flanges and joints before start-up.
(2) Disk coupling, no friction and collision sound.
(3) The first start-up shall inject the conveying liquid into the pump.
(4) Before starting, all the valves in the suction and discharge pipelines should be opened, and the start of the closed valves should be strictly prohibited.
(5) Start the motor after verifying the direction of rotation.
